Nostrum Technologies is engaged in the discovery and commercialization of specialty diagnostics for colorectal cancer and inhalation devices.  A special emphasis has been placed on combination products or drug/device combinations.  These novel and innovative devices will take advantage of Nostrum’s core capabilities in drug development and combine those capabilities with innovative devices to optimally deliver the drug.  Nostrum’s technologies will be developed to provide solutions for significant physician and patient unmet needs.

Colorectal Cancer Diagnosis:  Colorectal cancer is the third most common form of cancer and the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths. Nostrum has licensed an innovative and easy-to-use way to performing a screening test for colorectal cancer.   This new method will increase compliance because it makes it easier for the doctor or patient to perform the test.  

Inhalation: Inhalation devices, MDI’s and DPI’s have routinely been used by patients for symptomatic relief and treatment of patients suffering from respiratory disorders as well as systemic drug delivery.  Nostrum has developed several new technologies that will leap-frog current technologies and bring new innovation in this arena.
